Yoko Yakashi
Greetings,
I'm Yoko. I'm an Indigenous variety creator in Far North Queensland of Australia. I live stream on Twitch and Tiktok as a Ubisoft Partner, Squid Jam Creator, Convention Panellist and Former Japanese Radio Host. I work in the anime industry and currently collaborating with Sony Pictures Australia and Crunchyroll
I mainly play indie games but I do play Minecraft when I'm not. It's sort of rare for me to play any Triple A game, unless it's with a group. I play a variety of indie's from horror to open world types, and really enjoy a compelling story and survival games.
Each time steam runs their "Steam Next Fest" celebrations I'm always at the frontline check out the new upcoming studios. I consider myself easy to work with and always up for a new adventure!

Synopsis:
Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is a fantasy adventure about an aspiring witch who delivers packages to the townspeople of a small island. Explore every nook and cranny and soar through the sky with your magic broom.
I also run an armature cooking show call Yo Show where I've been cooking along with an anime game called Gochi-Show, we also cook from other recipes we find along the way.
This coming-of-age journey will take us to the top of the mountain through a story of effort, friendship, and community; and will let our hearts fly free.
Take your magic broom and discover all the secrets hidden in the mountain while getting to know its charming inhabitants. Work hard and get a magic broom good enough to achieve your goal: to go to the top of the mountain.
Take your magic broom and discover all the secrets hidden in the mountain while getting to know its charming inhabitants. Work hard and get a magic broom good enough to achieve your goal: to go to the top of the mountain. The heart of the game is a pleasant and fulfilling fly sensation. Mika will soar the skies while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Mont Gaun in her journey to the top of the mountain. Mika will deliver packages to the villagers all over the island and they will rate her service. That way she will earn money to get new brooms with unique flying capabilities.
There is much much more in-game. This was a long awaited game since Chibig's other games I played, Ankora: Lost Day and Summer In Mara. I took part in early testing before it hit the Steam's Next Fest last year and it has come so far and there is so much I didn't expect to happen or for the game to include. The design of Mun was really good and I loved seeing her again being her adventurous self. After finishing the main story I can now relax and complete it in my own time because I have more yet to play and even more secrets to uncover and character to see!

I have a few clubs and activities I run in my personal time, like my cosplay club and I've recently been merging them with my live streams. Last year in 2023 I was invite to attend the Cairns Show, which is one of Australia's largest attending carnivals attracting over 70,000 attendee each year. This year I was invited again but was unable to attend but next year is being planned.
I also run an armature cooking show call Yo Show where I've been cooking along with an anime game called Gochi-Show, we also cook from other recipes we find along the way.
I attended Dreamhack in Melbourne 2024, I not only attended as a creator and got to chill in the creator lounge but I was also a panellist. I was invited to speak about the importance of having safe communities and my perspective on this as an Indigenous content creator. I was invited along by BlakoutGG, an Indigenous content creator group.
